Benue: We’ll treat operators of illegal revenue checkpoints as armed robbers – Gov Ortom

Benue Speak Governor, Samuel Ortom has declared that henceforth, all operators of illegal income collection checkpoints in Benue Speak would be treated as armed robbers when apprehended.

The Governor gave the warning Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Benue Peoples Home Makurdi whereas signing into legislation the amended Benue Internal Income Administration Regulations of the mumble.

He explained that income collection in the mumble had been shriveled to consultants and urged other folks to work with them, stressing that any individual caught operating illegally will be treated esteem a felony.
