Berlin Film Festival 2023 adds Brazilian film Property to the selection

The 2023 Berlin Film Festival announced today (18) new titles from its selection, including the parallel shows Panorama and Generation. It is on this first list that the Brazilian film Property appears.

Directed by Daniel Bandeira (editor of films such as O No do Diabo), the production follows the revolt of workers on Tereza’s farm (Malu Galli, from Amor de Mãe), who takes refuge in his armored car and refuses to negotiate with employees.

The cast also includes Tavinho Teixeira (Irmandade), Edilson Silva (Bacurau), Sandro Guerra (Divino Amor) and Nivaldo Nascimento (O Som ao Redor). The exhibition in Berlin will be the international premiere of Property.

The 2023 Festival takes place February 16-26, with Kristen Stewart presiding over the jury. The main selection includes films starring Willem Dafoe and Sydney Sweeney, as well as the Brazilian short Infantaria – find out more.
