Cleric urges Fed Govt to tackle insecurity

Primate of The First African Church Mission Nigeria and Overseas, Dr. Sunday Matiluko, has urged the Federal Government to address insecurity.

He spoke at the investiture of 13 Sacred Knights of the Primatial Order (KPO), at the Jehovah Shalom Cathedral, Tinubu, Lagos Island.

Matiluko said the government has everything at its disposal to end insecurity.

“After God, it is the government; let our government live up to expectations. They can do this by providing jobs for youths, thus satisfying the yearnings of the masses. An idle hand is the devil’s workshop,” he said.

He said knights are known for their lifestyles, dispositions and actions. He said what one does for the church, qualifies one for the position of a knighthood.

The bishop said the investiture is a call to duty.

Among those honoured were Chief Adeyemi Nelson, the husband of Chief Kemi Nelson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State and 12 others.

Chief Nelson said he was happy about the investiture.
