Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie held a listening party for his new album “No Pressure” in Lagos with superstars Davido and Rudeboy in attendance.
Sarkodie arrived in Lagos and put together an album listening session for fans and friends on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
Sarkodie Lagos trip was significant as he did collaborations with some Nigerian artists on his new album.
One of such artists is Oxlade whom Sarkodie describes as a genius.
In an interview with BeatFM, the superstar who is considered one of the proponents of the “Azonto” genre and dance stated Oxlade initiated the song “Non Living Thing”, noting he was the best fit for it.

Obidi Pon Bidi further confessed his love for the song adding it is one of his favourite record on the album due to the story behind it.
The 36 year-old rapper said: “I love that record because of the story behind it. Because Oxlade apparently had been trying to reach me in the DM that he has a song for me. He said it was tailor made for Sarkodie. As soon as I heard it, I said, “ Yes.”
Some other celebrities present at Sarkodie’s album listening session in Lagos include Oxlade, Phyno, Rudeboy and Jim Iyke, among others.
A viral video also showed the Ghanaian rapper paid a visit to the Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy in his Lagos residence.
