Chelsea defender, Emerson Palmieri, has given a reason why he rejected an early return to the club right during the January transfer window.
Palmieri is right now on mortgage at French Ligue 1 aspect Lyon from Chelsea.
Chelsea sought to assassinate Palmieri’s season-long mortgage address Lyon in January after dropping Ben Chilwell to break but failed to deal with the Italy world.
While Lyon refused to sanction the transfer, Palmieri became reluctant to push for a return to Chelsea as the January transfer window at remaining closed.
But Palmieri is now announcing that he refused to come support to Chelsea in January as a consequence of he made a promise to Lyon sporting director, Juninho, that he would end at the club till the end of his mortgage deal.
“I didn’t skedaddle support to Chelsea as a consequence of I promised [Lyon sporting director] Juninho that I’d end for a season,” Palmieri instructed Lyon’s pleasant web vow.
“I am a particular person of my word. I love being in Lyon, I wish to be here.
“For next season, it’s not easy to relate as a consequence of it’s miles reckoning on the clubs, but I am joyful here.”
