Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has revealed plans to launch a luxury items store after a hiatus from acting.
According to those close to Abubakar, the new project is known as Habibi luxury items store and will throw its doors open to customers on the actress’s birthday, Saturday, June 12, 2021.
It was further gathered that Abubakar aims to position Habibi to become a one-stop store that will sell jewelry, hairs, and luxury items.
The ‘Inside Nollywood’ actress also told close aides that the store will launch its flagship office in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and other states of the federation.
“We will also be doing deliveries once the orders are placed online or electronically. It’s a one-stop store where you can pick or order for golds and diamonds,” Abubakar was quoted to have told her associates.
The philanthropist, who has fed several children and families, under her Halima Abubakar Foundation, is also popular for sensitising children on the care of the human body.
“We give out sanitary pads and every necessary hygiene item. All these and more are what we do for children in rural areas who ordinarily won’t have access to what their counterparts in the cities have,” Halima added.
