Hispanic Heritage Month starts this week and City Central is hosting the first Hispanic Heritage Event on Friday, September 16, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
Everybody is welcome to take part in a diverse celebration of Hispanic Culture at the City Central Summit at 400 East Central and across the street in the Central Courtyard at 204 South 4th Street.
There will be food, music, dancing and a live band will perform.
Food will be offered beginning at 5:00 pm till it’s gone.
At 6:00 pm the band “Tornado Norteno Banda” from Oklahoma City will certainly take the stage.
At 7:00 you can appreciate seeing Peruvian Dancers. The band plays once again after the dancers.
During the night there will certainly be supplier tables to go shopping from, a drawing and video games.
Enrollers include Dorada Foods, Cherokee Strip Credit Union, Phillips 66, Enrique’s Restaurant, Discount Foods as well as several individuals in the Hispanic Community.
