Acquaintance with a new powerful villain will take place in mid-February. Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for the long-awaited blockbuster Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania , the third installment in a solo film series about a superhero who can change his body size. The main roles in the film were again played by Paul Rudd (“Get along with yourself”), Evangeline Lilly (“Lost”), Michelle Pfeiffer (“Leave without saying goodbye”) and Michael Douglas (“The Kominsky Method”), to which this once Jonathan Majors (“Five of One Blood”) and Kathryn Newton (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”) joined in.
In the story, due to a failed experiment, superhero Scott Lang ( Rudd ), also known as Ant-Man, along with his daughter Cassie ( Newton ) and closest associates Janet Van Dyne ( Pfeiffer ), Hope Van Dyne ( Lilly ) and Hank Pym ( Douglas ) find themselves in a mysterious new world filled with unprecedented technology and terrifying dangers. There, they have to face a powerful villain named Kang the Conqueror ( Majers ), who offers Lang an attractive deal. Because of her, the hero is faced with a difficult choice between the future of the entire universe and his family happiness.
The film is directed by Peyton Reed, who directed the previous two installments of the Ant-Man series, as well as such well-known films as Always Say YES and American Divorce. The events of Quantum Mania will have a major impact on the future development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as studio representatives have repeatedly stated that Kang will become the new central villain of the superhero franchise. The full Avengers line-up will most likely take on him in Avengers: Kang Dynasty , which will hit theaters in 2025. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania will premiere on February 17 this year.
