The Batman 2022 Review, The Batman About Discussion

The first trailer for The Batman Movie was revealed during the DC FanDome event in August 2020, and it quickly became one of the top trailers of the year. Which was astounding considering the teaser was based on only the first few weeks of production and there was still more to come. Now, Warner Bros. has revealed the new release date for The Batman trailer, indicating that our second glimpse at footage from the picture will arrive a little over a year after the first.

At CinemaCon, Warner Bros. debuted new footage from The Batman Movie. Originally planned to be a solo vehicle for Ben Affleck’s Batman, writer-director Matt Reeves’ The Batman has subsequently developed into a standalone feature. It stars Robert Pattinson as a youthful Bruce Wayne who is pitted against a slew of Batman foes. Last year, during DC FanDome, a teaser trailer for Batman was revealed, giving fans a first peek at material from the impending film.

As part of the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon 2021, Warner Bros. unveiled a new look at the highly anticipated film today. With a cast that includes Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Real, Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Pattinson will bring an entirely new take on the character.

With the frightening and crafty Riddler, also known as Edward Nashton, joining the cast as the main villain, The Batman appears prepared to reincarnate one of Batman’s fiercest antagonists onto the big screen. In what appears to be a more detective-themed film than earlier iterations of Batman, trailer footage showed the Riddler already playing mind games on Bruce Wayne.

The Batman 2022 Movie Review

The Batman, the latest big-screen adaptation of the Caped Crusader, sees the Dark Knight return once more. This is a wholly different perspective on Batman, unrelated to the DCEU or the Christopher Nolan trilogy. This time, Robert Pattinson dons the Batman suit and goes on a punching spree through Gotham City. While we still have a long way to go before seeing The Batman, here’s everything we know thus far.

“Who is The Batman?” don’t you mean? But seriously, folks. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha The Batman is yet another Batman film, and while it may seem absurd to relaunch the character yet again, Warner Bros. is well aware that Batman is a huge moneymaker. To be fair, the film does appear to be really cool. The Batman was supposed to be a member of the DCEU at one point, with Ben Affleck directing and acting in the film, as well as collaborating on the script. Affleck eventually stood down as director and subsequently exited the film entirely. Similar to 2019’s Joker, it will now be a standalone feature completely apart from the DCEU continuity.

Watch The Batman Trailer

The first teaser trailer for The Batman premiered on August 22 at DC FanDome. It’s also dark, dreary, and emo. We can’t say much more than that, so we’ll just let the Batman movie trailer speak for itself.

Unfortunately, the trailer was released, and it was followed by a year of further lockdowns and bad news; but, with the coronavirus now safely behind us, we can look forward to a film that appears to convey a more grim Gotham tale, with a much more evil Caped Crusader to boot.

We covered crucial facts from the Batman movie 2022 as we neared the end of our piece. We hope that the new production team, led by director Matt Reeves, will deliver a high-quality film in the tradition of Christopher Nolan, and we encourage you to check back with us for additional information and updates.

Their thoughts on Robert Pattinson’s Batman voice: “His voice was perfect in my opinion.” 🤯

— BLURAYANGEL (@blurayangel) August 29, 2021

The Batman is director Matt Reeves’ long-awaited return to the Gotham universe, starring Robert Pattinson as Batman. Bruce Wayne will face off against everyone from Catwoman to the Riddler and beyond in the film, which will feature a number of Batman’s most infamous foes from the Rogues Gallery. (The Joker appears to be the only key character we don’t appear to have, which… thank you, Matt.) It’s fine with me if you want to include Poison Ivy.)

Now we might get our first actual reaction to Reeves’ film, and it gives me such faith that this will be the best live-action glimpse into the world of Batman yet! We don’t have definitive proof that this is true; all we have is The GOAT Movie Podcast cohost Angel’s word (blurayangel on Twitter). But if this is our initial reaction to The Batman, we’re in for a wild ride, one that I can’t wait to experience.

The Batman Release Date

Following delays caused by Covid-19, which prevented the film from being released in 2021, The Batman will be released in theaters on March 4, 2022. This will be the first solo Batman film released in the recent decade, excluding Batman vs Superman, since Christian Bale featured in The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

Their thoughts on Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman: “I have a million things to say about Catwoman, she’s my favorite, holy sh*t… definitely my favorite Catwoman.” 🐈‍⬛

The action in the film includes explosions, police officers, and commotion, as well as Batman beating up Gotham city goons drenched in red light. There’s also more of the struggle between Batman and Catwoman that was shown in the teaser trailer. According to Pattinson, “He’s working out his wrath in a big way. All of the conflicts appear to be quite intimate “Batman is depicted with a range of weapons. More footage reveals Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, who wears a waistcoat and has white hair, as well as the Batmobile, which has flames coming out of the exhaust. “We can’t wait for you to see The Batman in theaters next year,” Reeves says at the close of the clip.

The Batman Cast

The plot is still mostly unknown, but it will most likely involve an early in his career Batman/Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) in a villain-filled Gotham, including Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/The Riddler (Edward Nashton) (Paul Dano).

Many old-school Batman fans were not pleased with Robert Pattinson’s casting as Bruce Wayne/Batman, as the heartthrob is best known for his role as Edward, the ever-sparkly vampire at the center of the Twilight movie. Matt Reeves will direct Pattinson in the film (10 Cloverfield Lane, War for the Planet of the Apes).

To kindly counter this attitude, I’ll add I agree with IndieWire’s Zack Sharf, who described how Pattinson’s career has proven he’s more than simply the legendary part. Pattinson, for example, is gaining acclaim for his role in Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse, a highly anticipated black-and-white picture co-starring Willem Dafoe and directed by Robert Eggers (the luminary behind The Witch).

How to Watch The Batman Movie Online

Indeed, during this year’s DC FanDome event on Saturday, October 16th, a new teaser for The Batman will be released. The free virtual event starts at 10 a.m. PDT, but we don’t know when the panel for The Batman – and hence the new trailer – will go live. Director Matt Reeves took the virtual stage at last year’s DC FanDome event to discuss his take on the character, which sees Robert Pattinson take the lead in a plot that takes place in Bruce Wayne’s “Year Two” as Batman.

To be honest, I’m really looking forward to The Batman. Bruce Wayne is the World’s Greatest Detective, a character I don’t believe we’ve seen in the live-action format yet, and based on what I’ve heard from Matt Reeves, he understands that aspect of Batman’s tale. Is this going to be a horror film? Making Gotham into the scary world we’ve come to know and love from the comics? I’m looking forward to it.
