The post-apocalyptic show continues to grow its audience. After an incredibly inspiring start, the question of a potential second season of the multi-episode adaptation of the video game “The Last of Us ” was no longer in doubt for many, and the cable channel HBO confirmed this the other day. The following is a quote from Neil Druckmann, creator of the original video game and co-creator of the series:
“I am honored and frankly overwhelmed that so many people have joined in our retelling of Joel and Ellie’s journey. Working with showrunner Craig Mazin , our incredible cast and crew, and HBO has exceeded my already high expectations. Now we are happy to make a second season!”.
