Top 10 Best Anime Series of All Time | Watch Anime Online

It all started in the 1960s in Japan and so far, anime has only changed people’s lives and their mindset with pseudo content. These days, people, especially teenagers and university students, watch a lot of anime shows online because they think it’s much better than the real world, where online anime shows encourage them to be good friends, be social, and smart.

Recently, one of my friends asks me if I can recommend some anime series to her. Then I wrote this article to show the top 10 anime series of all time .

1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

  • Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese anime series directed by Yasuhiro Irie and written by Hiroshi Onogi. The story revolves around two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who are raised by their mother Trisha Elric. After their mother’s death, they traveled all over the world to practice transmutation, but failed and were left with physical ailments. Now the excitement begins where they both struggle to live their lives.

2. Death note

  • Genre: Fantasy, Thriller, Drama, Crime, Detective.
  • Release Date: June 17, 2006

The story revolves around a young high school boy, Light Yagami, who mysteriously finds a Death Notebook belonging to Shinigami Ryuk, and it is a supernatural book that can kill anyone if the name is written on the pages of this book. The anime is filled with plenty of thrills and anticipation that will give you enough goosebumps to talk after.

3. Attack on Titan / Attack on Titan

  • Genre: Fantasy, Drama, Action.
  • Release Date: September 9, 2009

A Japanese manga series written by Hajime Isayama where a fantasy world catches your thoughts and takes you to a world of giants where humanity survives on a daily basis. The series is very childish, because there are pseudo-giants that eat people. It’s like a world of fairy tales, where a big giant would come and take the kids, and then someone would come and attack those bad people. Overall, it’s a good series and worth watching if you have kids besides you, they’ll love it.

4. Code Geass

  • Genre: Thriller, Drama, Adventure, Fantasy.
  • Release Date: April 6, 2008

Code Geass is a royal story in which Lelouch and Britannia are an exiled prince and his father is Charles Zee Britannia and royal consort Marianne VI Britannia. Marianne is killed while her daughter Nunnally watched the murder take place, leading her to a traumatized state where she lost her ability to walk and see. Now the whole story takes a new turn when both Lelouch and his sister Nunnally travel to Japan. The story is filled with aggression and revenge, which is worth watching.

5. One piece

  • Genre: Fantasy, Action, Drama, Romance, Comedy, Adventure.
  • Release Date: October 20, 1999

One Piece is a Japanese anime series written by Junki, Hirohiko and Shoji with music by Kouhei and Shiro. This adventurous and funny story revolves around a boy who gained some powers after eating a devil fruit, and his body now has the properties of rubber. Now the boy and his pirate crew are on their way to look for the best treasure in the world called One Piece and find it to become the richest pirate king of all time.

6. Dragonball

  • Genre: Fantasy, Action, Thriller, Adventure.
  • Release date: 1986

Dragonball was first launched in 1986 and was produced by Toei Animation. After that, many series were launched in the coming years. The series is regarded as one of the most successful anime series of all time as it still airs in over 80 countries. The story revolves around Goku, a boy with a monkey tail who befriends a girl named Bulma, and together they go on an adventurous journey to find the Dragon Balls, which have the ability to summon Shenron, a powerful dragon. The idea to summon it is to grant their wish, as that is what the dragon suggested.

7. Naruto hurricane chronicles

  • Genre: Fantasy, Action, Thriller, Adventure.
  • Release date: February 15, 2007

This series is mainly for teenagers who are interested in fights and fights as this anime features a boy named Naruto who has been training hard with his friends and is now going back to Konoha to meet old friends. So, Naruto was threatened by the Akatsuki organization and now he is in danger as he needs to find a way and fight for his life. This story is worth watching when Naruto realized what was inside him and started to fight for his glory.

8. Cowboy Bebop

  • Genre: Fantasy, Action, Drama, Comedy, Crime, Adventure.
  • Release Date: April 3, 1998

It is a Japanese sci-fi anime series directed by Shinichiro Watanabe in which the year is 2071 and only a few bounty hunters travel in their spaceship called the Bebop. An exciting story about a former hitman, a girl who understands hacker attacks, and an ISSP officer. Their lives change due to several setbacks and they end up in different scenarios of their lives. This story is intended for science enthusiasts who are interested in the possibilities of being in a virtual world.

9. Tokyo Ghoul

  • Genre: Dark fantasy, horror and supernatural thriller.
  • Release Date: July 19, 2013

Tokyo Ghoul is a series written by Sui Ishida and is the story of a young college student, Ken Kaneki, who survives a fatal accident when his date was announced as Ghoul. After recovering from his injuries, he discovers that he himself has become a ghoul, and now he has to live with the society of ghouls and eat human meat. The story is not only frightening, but also exciting and worth seeing. You can try!

10. Hunter x Hunter

  • Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy.
  • Release date: 1999

This story is about hunters who travel the world in search of unique things such as creatures, riches and uncharted places. Gon Freecss is a young boy who surrenders to a team of these hunters in the hope of finding his missing father. He meets new friends on the team, and the story begins as they begin their journey.
