Veteran Saxophonist, Orlando Julius dies at 79


Fashionable Nigerian Saxophonist, Orlando Julius has died on the age of 79.

His spouse, Latoya Ekemode, confirmed his demise to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos.

She mentioned that Orlando Julius handed out in his sleep on Thursday evening.

“Sure, my husband handed on late final evening, there was no indication that demise was coming, he was not ailing, he solely slept and died in his sleep,” she mentioned.

NAN stories that Orlando Julius, was a saxophonist, singer, band chief, and songwriter intently related to afrobeat music.

A few of his musical albums have been: Disco Hello-Life, Ololufe, Love, Peace and Happiness; Dance Afrobeat and extra. (NAN)
