Streaming The Suicide Squad is something all DC fans would be looking forward to as the film has been released worldwide. The Suicide Squad is a soft reboot of the original Suicide Squad movie that came out in 2016. This film was directed by David Ayer as the cast was led by stars like Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis, and Joel Kinnaman. While many fans appreciated the film, others believed that the film was subpar at best. But believing in the potential of the Suicide Squad, Warner Bros decided to come out with a sequel. Nevertheless, this was later turned into a soft reboot of the original film.
The Suicide Squad features Amanda Walker’s Task Force X or Suicide Squad, heading off to a mission in Corto Maltese. The Suicide Squad is a team selected by Amanda Waller consisting of Belle Reve inmates. These are some of the most dangerous criminals that have been assigned to a mission that could see them lose their lives. Very much so, many members of the Suicide Squad do lose their lives in the opening sequence of the film itself. If the mission is difficult, why accept it? The truth is, they have no choice. They all are fitted with devices to blow up their heads if they do not follow Amanda Waller’s commands. Supposedly so, there are pros to being on the mission as their sentences are shortened if they complete their mission successfully.
The Suicide Squad Streaming Release Date
The Suicide Squad has already been made available for streaming since 5th August 2021 in the US. The actual release date for the film in Cinemas was 6th August 2021. But the online streaming of the film enabled the release date of The Suicide Squad to be shifted to 5th August 2021. This was because of the streaming release that would have been subsequently available on 5th August for countries other than the US. The Suicide Squad was released theatrically in the UK on 30th July 2021. Meanwhile, the film got released in Cinemas according to the COVID-19 regulations of the particular country.
Where To Watch The Suicide Squad?
The Suicide Squad is available to watch on HBO Max exclusively. Back in 2020, it was announced that all Warner Bros. films would be released on the HBO Max simultaneously with the Cinematic release. So, any WB film that was released in Cinemas was also made available to watch on HBO Max on the same day. This film would be available to watch for the subscribers for 31 days since the release of the film. This was a boon for movie watchers who could enjoy high-quality streaming of films from the comfort of their home during this pandemic. You can also subscribe to HBO Max for a monthly cost of $14.99. An alternative version of HBO Max was also released recently. This version of HBO Max was available for a cut cost of only $9.99.
Bloodsport and King Shark.
While many would like to get the cheaper version of HBO Max, it does have its cons. This version of HBO Max will show advertisements on it. Moreover, it also would not allow you to watch the new films that would be released in the Cinemas. Unlike the ad-free version of HBO Max, the cheaper version of HBO Max only allows you to watch the shows and movies that have already been added to the library of the streaming platform. And this does not include the new Warner Bros. films. In addition to this, news has come out that HBO Max would be discontinuing the simultaneous release of WB films on the streaming platform from 2022 onwards.

Who is in the Cast of The Suicide Squad?
Margot Robbie leads the cast of The Suicide Squad as she plays the role of the former psychiatrist Harley Quinn. Joining her is Idris Elba as Bloodsport, who is known as the guy who shot Superman with a kryptonite bullet. Then we have the famous WWE Superstar John Cena taking on the role of the ruthless killer Peacemaker. Then we have Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis reprising their roles as Rick Flag and Amanda Waller. Joining them is Silvester Stallone, who voices King Shark. David Dastmalchian will be playing Polka-Dot Man while Daniela Melchior plays Ratcatcher 2. Jai Courtney returns as Captain Boomerang while Peter Capaldi plays The Thinker. Lastly, we have Michael Rooker, Alice Braga, and Pete Davidson in the cast. They will be taking on the roles of Savant, Sol Soria, and Blackguard, respectively.
