I don’t believe in destiny – Nigerian singer, Magixx

Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, popularly known as Magixx, said that he does not believe in fate.

In a recent interview with Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, the ‘All Over’ singer said he believes in hard work but not in destiny.

He said I believe in hard work. I am not one of those people who believe in fate. I don’t believe in fate. I believe that you can get everything you want.

As a human being, as soon as you have put something into your head… I feel that our intuition is our God. If you can believe in something so illusory. If you can think about it as much as I will tomorrow, as crazy as it may sound, you can actually do it. That’s how powerful your mind is.”

The Mavin Records artist also revealed during the interview that his latest song ‘Maria’ was inspired by a true life story.

He said that the song is about a lady who rejected his overtures many years ago.

He said that although the persecution was short-lived, the feeling of rejection turned out to be lifelong.
