Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, explained that most of the time women think the opposite of reality.
He claimed this when he talked about the inspiration behind his hit ‘City Boys’ in a recent interview with Kiss FM London, UK.
He said that being a city boy means putting yourself first in relationships with women.
Burna Boy said, city boy is everyone who puts himself first. I’m talking about relationships between us and women. It’s not about putting yourself first in the grand scheme of things.
I’m a city boy, right? When I say, you know what? I go shopping with everyone. We all go and they all get what they want. Why did I do this? I just did it because it was a fucking fly. And I feel myself flying on it. Do you understand me? That’s the feeling of City Boy. It wasn’t about you. It was really about me doing some fly shit.
Most of the time, women think the opposite of what they really are. If I were a city girl, she would say something else. She would not understand the logic. She would feel that, Oh… after you went shopping, she could feel that you are sophisticated. She’s the girl from the city.
